We had our engagement party at Banter last fall. The whole experience was incredible. Amy, Glenn and Bailey were amazing and so kind to us. The venue was perfect, with a gorgeous outdoor area and plenty of space for our party. They generously let us bring in catering and we could not have asked for a better time. Drinks were phenomenal, service was stellar, and we have been and will continue to go back many more times.

A cozy and hidden gem in the middle of downtown Wilmington, perfect for every age. We came with a large group ranging from 20-75 and all of us enjoyed the space and atmosphere for different reasons. The bartender- Trent- was super accommodating and friendly. The drinks are strong and made with creativity and care. The space is Wilmington’s first bakery and was cozy and inviting on a cool winter’s day. Totally recommend for a pre or post dinner venue.

What a neat little bar!! The inside decor caught our eye as we were walking by, so we felt compelled to stop in and check it out. Just wow! Perfect place to take pictures + the bartender was very friendly and shared with us the hours and some other cool information. We checked out everywhere in the back through to the bathrooms + outdoor area and they really went all out with this unique place. While we weren't able to have a drink, as we were on our way out of town for the day, we will make sure to stop back when we next get a chance!

Didn’t get to visit and have a drink on my short trip but will definitely be back to try. Such amazing people, the staff and owners found my license that fell out of my wallet on the street in front of the bar and were so kind. They found me on Facebook to tell me they had it and when I said I was leaving they mailed it to me. Even went the extra mile and express shipped it as I had a flight coming up the next week. Can’t thank them enough for all of their help and how kind they were 🥹

Love this place. Spend a few hours with my partner relaxing while having a drink. We fell in love with the atmosphere. The bartender, Trent, was awesome and very attentive! We will be back when we are in town again!

Banter is a lovely little bar with a number of different interior spaces and an exterior patio. The bartenders and the specialty drinks this past December were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!

Eclectic dive bar meets craft cocktail heaven! Cozy, friendly, great location with amazing bartenders and a list of craft cocktails. Can’t find what you like? Challenge them to make one there on the spot! Always be on the lookout for the hidden rabbit. 😉
